Morris M. Amiri has over two decades of experience in the investment management industry. As the chief investment officer and portfolio manager, he is responsible for implementing all investment management decisions and resource allocations of the firm. He began his career with KIG Investments in Beverly Hills in 1998, and served as a global equity research analyst at Bear Stearns & Company in New York. Prior to founding Sunset West Advisors, Mr. Amiri served in Royal Bank of Canada’s private wealth management division, also in New York City.

Kim delivers over 20 years of experience in financial services providing client service support to the various needs of the firm. As a member of the client services team Kim coordinates and oversees the client service duties of the firm while providing an extensive level of advisory support to executives.

She is primarily responsible for implemeting procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Kim has 3 grown children and has been married for over 20 year. She enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

As an executive administrator, Kathy Walker handles business relations and special projects at the senior management level. She serves as a primary point of contact and liaison between management, departments, and staff. With over two decades of executive support experience, Kathy is a key part of the Sunset West team.

As General Counsel, Bryan Freedman represents Sunset West Advisors in all legal matters, including business structure, intellectual property, and human resources. Bryan has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer for 9 straight years and is an invaluable resource to the SWA team.
